Located in West Tawakoni on Texas 276 (east of Water Line Road), this facility offers convenient access to Lake Tawakoni, a 37,879-acre reservoir on the Sabine River. The park features two 2-lane concrete boat ramps, a courtesy dock, and a 300-foot fishing pier, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger motorboats. The site includes parking, restrooms, a fish cleaning station, and a picnic area with ADA accessibility.
This is an excellent launch point for exploring the expansive lake waters. The flat-water reservoir environment is ideal for recreational paddling and fishing. Paddlers should note that the area is operated by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and offers both boating and fishing opportunities. A secondary access point at Sabine River Authority Public Boat Ramp is located off Texas 47 on the west side of the dam if you're looking for additional launch options in the area.
