Tawakoni Marina

**Location & Access:** Tawakoni Marina is located on Texas Highway 276 at the east end of the Tawakoni Causeway in West Tawakoni, Hunt County. The facility sits adjacent to the Two Mile Bridge East public ramp, providing convenient access to Lake Tawakoni, a large 37,879-acre reservoir in Northeast Texas.

**Facilities & Amenities:** The marina features two 2-lane concrete boat ramps suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels. A 300-foot fishing pier is also available on-site. This location is operated by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and provides good infrastructure for water access. The nearby Sabine River Authority Public Boat Ramp (located off Texas 47 on the west side of the dam) offers an alternative free launch option with a two-lane concrete ramp.

**What to Expect:** Lake Tawakoni is a substantial impoundment used for water supply and recreation, offering plenty of open water for paddling and boating. The area serves as a popular destination for fishing, so expect moderate recreational traffic, especially on weekends. Both ramps provide year-round access, making this a reliable option for launching paddling trips on the lake.
