Terral Island

**Location & Access**
Terral Island Landing is a mid-lake access point located on the north side of Lake D'Arbonne near Farmerville in Union Parish County. The ramp is accessed off Par Road 1701 and features a one-lane concrete boat ramp with docking facilities. This is a popular entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the lake's northern waters.

**Amenities & Regulations**
The facility offers basic launching infrastructure with dock access and nearby parking. Please note that **no fishing is permitted within 50 feet of the ramp**, and there is no overnight camping allowed at the launch facility. A launch fee applies to all vessels. Hours of operation are restricted from sunset onward, so plan your departure accordingly.

Terral Island provides convenient access to Lake D'Arbonne's recreational opportunities, including proximity to D'Arbonne National Wildlife Refuge to the north. The refuge and Louisiana Wetland Management District offer excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, making this a good base for exploring the region's natural areas by paddle or boat.
