The Pines

**Location & Access:** The Pines is a no-frills public boat ramp located in Gulf Shores, about 12 miles west of Highway 59 on Fort Morgan Road (Highway 180). The ramp address is 18068 Fort Morgan Road, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. There is no launch fee.

**Facilities & Conditions:** This is a basic access point with a single concrete ramp and four roadside parking spots. The site has no restroom facilities or lighting, making it best suited for daytime use. The ramp launches into Bon Secour Bay, offering paddlers and boaters access to calm coastal waters. This is an ideal put-in for exploring the shallow, protected bay waters and nearby estuarine habitats.

**Nearby Recreation:** The Pines provides convenient access to two significant natural areas: Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, both offering excellent paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities.
