Thompson's Lake offers paddlers two convenient launch options near East Berne in Albany County. A free concrete boat ramp is available across the lake with no entrance fee required, while a beach launch within Thompson's Lake State Park is also available (entrance fee applies). The lake has a 15 horsepower motor limit, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small recreational boats. Parking is available for approximately 5 cars and trailers at the primary access point.
