About This Access Site
Tickey Creek Park offers convenient access to the east arm of Lavon Lake near Princeton in northern Collin County. The facility features two 4-lane boat ramps—one inside the park and one just outside—making it a well-equipped launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A day-use fee is required, and the ramps are open year-round. The park itself is a small but pleasant facility located on the western shore of the lake's east arm.

**Directions:** From Princeton, take FM 982 south from US 380 for approximately 3.5 miles, then turn east on FM 3364 near Culleoka. The park entrance is about half a mile down on the right. Alternatively, from Lavon, take FM 6 west from Texas 78. Tickey Creek Park provides a straightforward launch for accessing Lavon Lake's recreational waters, with good infrastructure for both day trips and longer paddling excursions.
