About This Access Site
Located on Route 74 adjacent to the Fort Ticonderoga Ferry, this launch provides convenient access to Lake Champlain's open waters. The site features a hard-surface ramp with ample parking for 52 vehicles and trailers, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and larger boats. To reach the launch from the intersection of Routes 9N, 74, and 22 in Ticonderoga, head east on Route 22/74 for 1.6 miles, then turn left to stay on Route 74.

Lake Champlain at this location offers excellent paddling opportunities in prime fishing habitat with quick access to open water. The lake serves as a significant migratory corridor during spring and fall, funneling wildlife and recreational traffic between the Adirondack and Green Mountains. The site is accessible to the top of the ramp, with accessible parking and facilities available to accommodate various user needs.
