The Tiger Cat access site provides public boat launch access to Tiger Cat Flowage, an 819-acre lake system in Sawyer County, Wisconsin. This flowage is actually a chain of five connected lakes—Clear, Big Spider, Little Spider, Fawn, and North—offering paddlers and boaters an expansive network for exploration. With a maximum depth of 30 feet and three public access points throughout the system, the flowage is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and larger boats. The winding channels between lakes create scenic paddling routes and make it a popular destination for exploring diverse water conditions.
The Tiger Cat area supports populations of Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, and Walleye, making it attractive for anglers as well as paddlers. Note that while this is one access point on the flowage, additional boat launches exist on the system—the most convenient public launch is located 4.8 miles away on the west side of Clear Lake if you're seeking alternatives. Before visiting, check current conditions and confirm specific amenities available at this particular access point, as facilities may vary between launch sites.
