Tiger Cat Flowage is an 819-acre lake system in Sawyer County offering excellent paddling opportunities for kayakers and canoeists. Located near Hayward, this access point provides entry to a scenic chain of five connected lakes: Clear, Big Spider, Little Spider, Fawn, and North. With a maximum depth of 30 feet and multiple access points throughout the system, the flowage offers diverse paddling routes with winding channels that create an engaging 3-4 hour exploration experience from tip to tip.
The site is well-suited for both casual paddlers and anglers, with populations of Musky, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, and Panfish. The interconnected lake system and long channels mean paddlers should be prepared for variable conditions and allow adequate time for navigation.
