Tilde Lake

**Tilde Lake** is a 248-acre public access lake located in Hitterdal, Becker County, Minnesota. The lake features a boat ramp and dock facility suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. With a maximum depth of 13 feet, the lake offers moderate water conditions for paddling and recreational boating. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required for the access area.

The lake supports a healthy fishery with bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, perch, rock bass, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. The access site's proximity to **Hamden Slough National Wildlife Refuge** to the east adds scenic value, offering views where eastern forest transitions to prairie landscape. This location is ideal for day trips and shorter paddling excursions on a calm, shallow lake.
