Located in Tinicum Township along Route 32 near Erwinna, Tinicum Park offers a concrete boat ramp maintained by Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation. The ramp itself is concrete, though the access drive is unpaved. Parking is limited to approximately 4 car/trailer combinations, with overflow parking available across the street at the main park entrance. The Delaware River at this location is a major waterway—the largest free-flowing river in the eastern United States—with significant flow averaging over 30,000 cubic feet per second and a moderate current of approximately 3 feet per second.
