About This Access Site
Tom Finley Park offers excellent public boat access to Cedar Creek Reservoir with two well-maintained Chamber Island boat ramps conveniently located off Highway 334 in the middle of the lake. The facility features wide double ramps with courtesy docks, abundant trailer parking, and an ADA-accessible ramp option. This makes it a reliable access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats of various sizes. The park is day-use only and requires a small admission fee.

Beyond water access, Tom Finley Park provides a full range of amenities including a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier, swimming areas, picnic spots, and a large covered pavilion—making it suitable for both paddlers launching solo trips and groups planning family outings. The park is located in Mabank in Henderson County and is managed by the Trinity River Watershed Division (TRWD) and Friends of Cedar Creek Lake. Most of the reservoir's shoreline is privately owned, making this public facility a valuable resource for paddlers exploring the lake.
