About This Access Site
Located in Decker in southeastern Montana's Big Horn County, Tongue River Reservoir State Park provides convenient water access via two boat ramps with docks—one at Pee Wee North Campground and one at Campers Point. The 12-mile reservoir offers a protected paddling environment suitable for kayakers and canoeists, with opportunities for fishing and general boating recreation.

The park features full camping amenities for overnight trips, including tent, RV, rustic, and hike/bike campsites, as well as boatslip rentals. An on-site marina and facilities at both ramp locations support day-use and extended visits. The dedicated RV and trailer parking lot is located at the Pee Wee North Campground ramp, making it the primary access point for larger watercraft. Reservations are available through Reserve America, so plan ahead during peak seasons.

For current information on fees, campsite availability, and park conditions, contact Tongue River Reservoir State Park directly at PO Box 8, Decker, MT 59025, or check the Montana State Parks website.
