About This Access Site
Tower Bay Park offers a protected launching point on the Hickory Creek Arm of Lewisville Lake, making it an excellent choice for kayakers and canoeists looking to avoid the rougher waters of the open lake. The facility features a four-lane concrete boat ramp with parking for approximately 50 vehicles. The protected bay setting is particularly popular with early-morning and evening paddlers, and the facility is accessible 24 hours a day, year-round.

**Getting There:** From I-35E just south of the Lewisville Lake bridge, take the Highland Village exit and follow the west access road north to the ramp. Tower Bay is part of the larger Lewisville Lake recreation area, a 29,592-acre lake north of Dallas with over 20 surrounding parks offering diverse paddling and outdoor recreation opportunities. The site is ideal for launching day trips on the Hickory Creek Arm or accessing the broader lake system.
