About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Townsend's Marina is conveniently located in Lacey Township, just three miles from the Garden State Parkway in Forked River. The facility features a dedicated boat ramp with ample private parking and is situated approximately one mile from Barnegat Bay, making it an excellent launching point for both river and bay exploration. A $10 round-trip ramp fee applies. The yard is accessible 24/7, with office hours Tuesday through Sunday, 8 am–5 pm.

**Facilities & Services:** The marina offers 96 slips (16'–50') and on-site kayak rentals ($40 per person for 4 hours, with 1 and 2-person kayaks available) for those without their own equipment. This makes it an ideal starting point for paddlers of all experience levels. The marina's proximity to renowned fishing waters and scenic destinations like Tices Shoal provides excellent options for day trips once you're on the water.

**Water Access:** From the ocean, enter via Barnegat Inlet and follow the Oyster Creek Channel to the Forked River, traveling approximately one mile north along the marked intracoastal route.
