About This Access Site
The Tracy boat ramp provides convenient access to the North Fork White River and Norfork Lake in Mountain Home, Arkansas. This public access point, part of the Panther Bay recreation area, offers a concrete boat launch ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.

Norfork Lake is a popular destination for a variety of water sports, from sailing on the open stretches to quieter cove areas ideal for other activities. The North Fork White River below the dam is known for excellent trout fishing, with both rainbow and cutthroat trout available. Several access points along this five-mile stretch allow float-fishing and wading opportunities. Paddlers can explore the river and transition into the broader Norfork Lake.

Facilities at the Tracy access site are limited, but nearby Quarry Park below the dam offers additional amenities like a boat ramp, fishing access, and picnic areas. Boaters and paddlers should plan ahead and be prepared for basic launch site conditions at the Tracy access point.
