Tranus Lake is located in Springbrook, Washburn County, Wisconsin. From the intersection of Highways 63 and M in Springbrook, head east on Highway 63 for approximately 3.2 miles, then north on Tranus Lake Road for 2.2 miles, and finally west on Tranus Lake Landing Road for 0.2 miles to reach the public boat landing and parking area.

This 166-acre lake offers a shallow-water paddling experience with a maximum depth of 12 feet, making it suitable for kayakers and canoeists of varying skill levels. The lake supports panfish and northern pike, making it popular with anglers as well. The small to moderate size of the lake makes it manageable for day trips and recreational paddling.
