Located in Ligonier, Noble County, this access point offers a single-lane unimproved gravel boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats onto Eagle Lake. Two parking lots are available to accommodate visitors. Be aware that shoreline access is very limited, so plan your paddling route accordingly and expect a more rustic launch experience typical of wildlife management areas.
Eagle Lake supports a managed fishery with regular stocking of Channel Catfish, Bluegill, and Redear Sunfish, making it a decent spot for anglers. Beyond paddling, the Tri-County Fish & Wildlife Area features scenic hiking trails through forests, wetlands, and meadows, with good opportunities for wildlife viewing including bald eagles, herons, and woodpeckers. The area is also popular with mushroom hunters and berry pickers, so you may encounter other visitors during peak seasons.
