About This Access Site
The Trimmer Recreation Area Campground provides easy access to Pine Flat Lake, a large reservoir spanning 20 miles in length with 67 miles of shoreline. The campground features a boat ramp and courtesy dock located adjacent to the campsites, making it a convenient launch site for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats.

The campground has 10 reservable sites, each equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill. Visitors can also take advantage of the well-lit, accessible restrooms with flush toilets and free hot showers. While the campground itself is not particularly scenic, the views of the expansive Pine Flat Lake are beautiful when the water levels are high.

Day-use visitors who are not staying overnight will need to pay the $5.00 per day fee at the self-pay station at the top of the boat ramp and park in designated areas outside the campground loop. The campground is located approximately 26 miles east of Fresno, California, providing easy access to this popular recreation destination in the Sierra and Sequoia National Forests.
