Trinity Lake National Recreation Area (Stuart's Fork )

The Stuart's Fork boat ramp provides access to Trinity Lake, a popular recreation destination in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This ramp is located approximately 13 miles north of Weaverville on State Highway 3, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small boat owners.

Trinity Lake offers 145 miles of shoreline, with a variety of coves and inlets perfect for fishing, exploring, or enjoying a peaceful day on the water. The lake is known for its scenic beauty, surrounded by forested hills and mountains. Boaters and paddlers can access the main body of the lake as well as the Stuart's Fork arm.

The boat ramp is managed by the U.S. Forest Service under an agreement with the Bureau of Reclamation. An activity pass is required to use the facility, which can be purchased through Recreation.gov. Several campgrounds are located within 10 miles, providing convenient options for overnight stays.
