About This Access Site
Trout Creek offers a convenient boat ramp access point on the Clark Fork River in Sanders County, Montana. The site features a double boat ramp with an accessible boardwalk, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. This access point is ideal for launching day trips on the Clark Fork, a popular destination for paddlers and anglers exploring one of Montana's major river systems.

The Clark Fork River in this area provides non-technical, scenic floating with good potential for multi-mile floats. Popular trips from this area include an 11-mile float through pleasant pools and eddies, with the option to extend your journey to approximately 14 miles by continuing to Dry Creek.
