About This Access Site
Located in Bow behind Bow High School on Falcon Way (accessible via Turee Pond Road), this public access site offers a gravel ramp and dock for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The facility includes parking and is suitable for cartop launching. Note that Turee Pond operates under a 10 HP motor limit and 10 MPH speed restriction, making it an ideal, quieter paddling destination.

Turee Pond is a relatively small, calm water body well-suited for recreational paddling and fishing. The surrounding area includes Turee Island Town Forest, a 43.5-acre wetland preserve with an upland island accessible during winter months when the marsh is frozen or during dry spells—offering exploration opportunities for experienced paddlers. Nearby, paddlers can also access more dynamic water conditions at Blackwater Dam near Webster, known for excellent spring kayaking during water releases, and the expansive Hopkinton-Everett Lake near Concord for additional paddling options in the region.
