This is an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters exploring the upper Suwannee River.
**Directions:** From White Springs, travel north on CR 135, cross CR 6, then continue north on 180th Boulevard (Woodpecker Road) for 2 miles. Turn right on NE 38th Trail to reach the parking area and boat ramp. For more information, contact Florida Fish and Wildlife at 386-758-0525.
The Suwannee River offers excellent paddling opportunities, and Turner Bridge is one of several public access points along the waterway. This location makes a good base for day trips or longer paddles on the upper river.
