Twentyfive Mile Creek State Park offers excellent boat access to the northern reaches of Lake Chelan near the town of Chelan. The facility features a modern marina with moorage and fuel services, along with a boat launch ramp—note that while the ramp itself is narrow, there's ample dock space once you've launched. This location serves as an ideal base for exploring the remote upper lake waters and connecting to the passenger ferry service that travels to the roadless community of Stehekin at the lake's head.
The park combines practical boating amenities with scenic camping opportunities, featuring tent sites along Twenty-five Mile Creek's rocky shores and upland RV sites. A protected wading area provides family-friendly water access. Beyond boating, the surrounding landscape offers access to the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest with excellent summer hiking and mountain biking opportunities, making it a versatile recreation hub for both water-based and land-based activities.
