The 10-acre park features a recently upgraded road and boat ramp access, along with restroom facilities, picnic areas, and scenic overlooks of the falls. This is a free access point with ample parking for launching paddlecraft and motorboats.
The Snake River at this location is a major river system with substantial flow—averaging nearly 50,000 cubic feet per second—and a steep average gradient of 15.8 ft/mile, indicating swift currents and demanding conditions. Nearby Murtaugh Boating Access (downstream) provides Class V whitewater opportunities when flows are sufficient, offering context for this section's intensity.
