About This Access Site
The Twin Lake boat ramp in Robbinsdale provides access to Lower Twin Lake and connects paddlers to Middle Twin Lake via a channel under Highway 100. The facility offers parking for nine vehicles with boat trailers and is managed by Three Rivers Park District. **Note:** A parking pass is required for boat trailer parking from April 1 through November. The ramp also connects to the Twin Lakes Regional Trail system, making it a convenient starting point for paddlers exploring the Twin Lakes chain.

Lower Twin Lake itself is a 252-acre lake with a maximum depth of 26 feet, suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. The area offers scenic surroundings and shoreline fishing opportunities. During any construction periods, emergency lake access is available from the Lake Breeze boat ramp in nearby Brooklyn Center. Paddlers should verify current access conditions and obtain required parking passes before visiting during the peak season.
