Okatibbee Creek and Reservoir provide over 11,000 acres of water surface area, offering ample space for boating, fishing, and other water sports. The lake is known for its populations of bass, crappie, and catfish, making it a popular destination for anglers. Several additional boat ramps are available around the lake for easy water access.

While the park is primarily a campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the boat ramp and surrounding day-use areas are open to the public. Visitors should note that fees may apply, and facilities like restrooms may have limited availability outside of the main campground.
