Two Rivers Park in Little Rock, Arkansas provides a convenient boat ramp access point to the Arkansas River. This major waterway flows 1,207 miles from the Rocky Mountains to the Mississippi River, with an average flow of over 51,000 cubic feet per second.
The boat ramp is located at the confluence of the Arkansas and Little Maumelle Rivers, within the 1,000-acre Two Rivers Park. In addition to the boat launch, the park offers walking, biking, and horseback riding trails, as well as picnic areas and other recreational amenities. Paddlers and anglers are also drawn to the nearby Little Maumelle River, which flows into the Arkansas.
The boat ramp provides easy access to explore the Arkansas River. Boaters and kayakers should be aware of the river's powerful current, with an average velocity of 6.6 feet per second, and plan accordingly. The river features a total elevation drop of over 9,500 feet from its headwaters to its mouth.
