About This Access Site
Two Rivers Park offers convenient access to Lake Wallula on the Columbia River near Kennewick, Washington. The ramp provides a good launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the 53-mile stretch of slack water created by McNary Lock and Dam. The nearby confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers (located at Sacajawea State Park, about 2 miles downstream) is a notable paddling destination with historical significance as a Lewis and Clark campsite.

Lake Wallula is a large reservoir ideal for paddlers of varying skill levels, with relatively calm conditions suitable for recreational kayaking and canoeing. The area supports active fishing for salmon and steelhead, so expect moderate boat traffic, particularly during fishing seasons. Before launching, check current fishing regulations with Washington or Oregon Fish & Wildlife, as these can change seasonally. For additional amenities and camping, Hood Park is nearby with reservable campsites and facilities available by calling 509-547-2048.

The ramp is located just off State Route 124 east of Pasco (take Highway 12 east from Pasco and follow signs after crossing the Snake River Bridge). Parking and boat launch facilities are maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For current conditions or facility information, contact the Walla Walla District at cenww-pa@usace.army.mil.
