About This Access Site
The Ulster boat ramp provides public access to the Susquehanna River in Bradford County, PA, located conveniently off Bridge Street in Ulster. The ramp is easy to find—heading south on Route 220, take a left onto Bridge Street and look for the ramp entrance just before the bridge on the left side, which leads down to a parking area. This is a straightforward, no-frills access point suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats launching onto the river.

Paddlers should be aware that the area immediately downstream of this access becomes more populated and developed along the riverbanks. The Susquehanna River at this location is a large, relatively gentle waterway, making it accessible for various skill levels. Street parking is available near the ramp. Before launching, check current river conditions and flow rates, as the Susquehanna's water levels can fluctuate seasonally. This access point provides a good starting location for exploring the middle Susquehanna region.
