About This Access Site
This boat ramp provides convenient access to Skiatook Lake via Hominy Creek on the northwest side of the lake, just off Highway 20 in Osage County. The ramp is part of the Hominy Creek river system and offers paddlers and boaters a good launching point for exploring the lake's meandering shoreline. An activity pass is required to use this Recreation.gov-managed facility.

Skiatook Lake features a scenic landscape of rolling hills dotted with Blackjack and Post Oak trees interspersed with tallgrass prairie, making it an attractive destination for kayakers and canoeists. The lake offers multiple access points if you want to explore different areas—nearby alternatives include Osage Park, Blackdog Park, and Skiatook Point boat ramps. The area also has camping facilities at several nearby campgrounds (Tall Chief Cove, Bull Creek, and Twin Points), making it suitable for multi-day paddling trips.
