Upper Bottle Lake is a 459-acre lake located on the north shore in Park Rapids, Hubbard County, offering a public boat ramp for easy water access. The lake features a maximum depth of 55 feet and is part of the scenic Mantrap chain of lakes. This access point is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters looking to explore a well-established recreational waterway with minimal development.
The ramp accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet in length, making it suitable for most recreational vessels. Upper Bottle Lake connects directly to Lower Bottle Lake with no barriers to boat traffic, effectively creating one continuous body of water for exploration. Paddlers can also access Lake Emma and Big Sand Lake by smaller watercraft. There are no launch fees at this public access site (unless a vehicle permit is required by the park).
This is a straightforward, family-friendly launch point for a full day of paddling or fishing in a well-maintained lake system. The north shore location provides good facility access and is a solid starting point for exploring multiple connected lakes in the Mantrap chain.
