About This Access Site
**Important Notice:** Upper Sioux Agency State Park permanently closed to the public on February 16, 2024, following a land transfer to the Upper Sioux Community. This access site is no longer available for public use.
Prior to closure, the park provided a boat ramp at the main launch facility located within a large riverside parking and picnic area along the Minnesota River near Granite Falls. The site offered a rustic, accessible launch point with level grass areas and nearby facilities for day-use visitors and campers. Paddlers planning to access the Minnesota River in this region should contact local authorities or the Minnesota DNR for current alternative access points.
