About This Access Site
The US 59 Bridge ramp provides convenient access to Wright Patman Lake near Domino in northeast Texas. Located approximately 2.5 miles north of FM 3129 on the south side of the dam, this ramp sits on the upper lake near the Sulphur River channel. The access point is easily found by taking US 59 south and following directional signs when turning left off the highway. This location works well for paddlers and boaters looking to explore the Sulphur River arm of the lake.

Wright Patman Lake spans roughly 30,000 surface acres across the beautiful piney woods of northeast Texas, offering plenty of water for various boating activities including paddling, fishing, and general recreation. As one of 17 boat ramps available around the lake, the US 59 Bridge site provides a straightforward launching point without the complexity of some fee-based or lease-area facilities. The ramp's placement near the river channel makes it particularly useful for those wanting to paddle upstream into the Sulphur River system or explore the lake's main body.
