About This Access Site
The Utah Lake State Park boat ramp provides direct access to Utah's largest freshwater lake. This facility offers four boat launch ramps, a marina with transient slips, and other amenities to accommodate a variety of watercraft.

For paddlers, Utah Lake offers a vast, open-water environment with an average temperature of 75 degrees, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding. The lake spans approximately 148 square miles, so there is ample room to explore, but boaters should be prepared for potential wind and wave conditions. The state park also features a fishing area designed for accessibility.

Visitors should note that due to low water levels, the boat ramp may be closed to motorized launching, so it's best to check the current status before planning a trip. The park is located just west of Provo, Utah, providing convenient access for those in the region.
