About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Vern Wolf Lake is a 150-acre public lake located in Brighton, Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The site offers a public boat ramp for easy launch access to the water.

**Lake Conditions & Recreation**
This shallow lake reaches a maximum depth of 12 feet and features a bottom composition of muck (50%) and sand (50%), making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The calm waters provide good conditions for paddling and exploring. Be aware that the lake contains aquatic invasive species, including Curly-Leaf Pondweed and Eurasian Water-Milfoil—clean your boat, trailer, and equipment before and after launching to help prevent their spread.

**Important Note for Boaters**
Before visiting, thoroughly inspect and rinse your watercraft, as invasive species can cling to propellers, anchor lines, and trailers. Motor trolling is permitted with up to 3 hooks, baits, or lures per angler if you're interested in fishing.
