Village Lane

Village Lane provides public boat ramp access to Lake Murray on the Saluda River in the Columbia area. This access point serves paddlers and boaters looking to launch on the reservoir portion of the Saluda River. The site is conveniently located in Lexington County near the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests, making it a good starting point for exploring the broader Lake Murray recreation area.

**Important Notes for Paddlers:** Water conditions on the Saluda River can change rapidly and may be dangerous, so check current flow conditions before launching. If you're planning to paddle downstream toward the Congaree River, be aware that conditions become increasingly difficult in the lower sections. An alternative take-out option exists at Saluda River Resort (an RV park with its own boat ramp) if you're planning a longer paddle downstream.
