About This Access Site
Viney Creek Park offers free boat launch access onto Table Rock Lake via a concrete/asphalt ramp located near the picnic shelter and park office. This is an excellent access point for paddlers and boaters exploring the White River arm of the lake. To reach the park from Golden, take Highway J north for approximately 7 miles. The ramp remains open for lake access, though day-use activities and camping within the park are currently limited due to ongoing lease considerations.

Table Rock Lake is fed by the White River, a major waterway with an average flow of 34,831 cubic feet per second and a moderate gradient of 3.5 feet per mile. The river's 9th-order classification indicates substantial current and volume—suitable for motorboats and experienced paddlers, though conditions can vary seasonally. Paddlers should be prepared for the typical currents and water conditions of a major reservoir system in the Ozark region.

This access point provides a straightforward launch option without fees or reservations required, making it a convenient choice for day trips on Table Rock Lake. Nearby camping is available at Campbell Point (reservable), located within 10 miles for those planning extended outings.
