Wahweap - 2

Wahweap is a multi-lane public boat ramp located at the end of Wahweap Boulevard near the Lake Powell Resort Lodge in Big Water, Utah. This is one of Lake Powell's primary access points and serves kayakers, canoeists, and motorized vessels. The ramp provides parking, an information station, and fuel services. Note that the ramp closes seasonally during winter, and the nearby Stateline launch ramp may open only when lake levels exceed 3,564 feet. All boats exiting Lake Powell must follow mandatory decontamination protocols to prevent the spread of quagga mussels and other aquatic invasive species.

The Wahweap Campground & RV Park is located nearby and offers 112 dry campsites, 90 full hook-up sites, and group camping options with restrooms, showers, laundry, and a store. The area provides excellent access to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area's 1.25 million acres of water-based and backcountry recreation.
