Walker Landing, also known as Scott's Landing, is a state-owned boat ramp providing access to the St. Marys River in Nassau County, Florida. Located on the southwest side of the river near the Georgia border, this ramp serves as a convenient put-in for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this scenic blackwater river. The facility includes a floating dock platform at the boat launch to assist with water entry and exit.
**Getting There:** From the intersection of US 301 and CR 108 in Hilliard, head north on US 301 for 6.5 miles, then turn right onto Lake Hampton Road for 0.7 mile. Turn left on Scott's Landing Road and continue 0.5 mile to reach the ramp.
**What to Know:** The ramp is located on state property and features a year-round restroom building. Note that landings are closed between sunset and sunrise except for loading/unloading boats. A nearby shuttle service is available through River Camp, though advance arrangements are required. The landing provides excellent access to the pristine St. Marys River and proximity to the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge—ideal for paddlers seeking remote wilderness paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities.
