**Location & Access:** Walkers Point Recreation Area is located 9 miles southeast of Madison off South Dakota Highway 19 on the shores of Lake Madison, a 2,800-acre lake in Lake County. The access point sits at coordinates 43.95722219, -97.02731711.
**Facilities & Current Status:** The recreation area offers a boat ramp along with a ski beach, playground, and fishing cleaning station. However, be aware that the ramp may be closed seasonally or during low-water conditions. Current water levels may create challenging launching conditions for some watercraft types. The park also features 43 campsites and two camping cabins, making it convenient for multi-day paddling trips.
