Watson Sag

**Location & Facilities**
Watson Sag is a boat ramp located on the west edge of the park near Churchill, Minnesota, providing access to Lac qui Parle Lake on the Minnesota River. The ramp is positioned down the shore from the picnic area and can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, depending on ramp specifications. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required for park entry.

**Paddling & Recreation**
This access point opens onto Lac qui Parle Lake, a reservoir created for flood control in the Minnesota River Valley. The area is popular for fishing walleye and catfish, and for waterfowl hunting. Paddlers launching here can explore the lake and the Minnesota River corridor. The nearby Appleton City Park offers a scenic paddle destination with small rapids, providing a fun entry point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the river segment.
