Located off Long Lake Road in Waterford, Racine County, this public boat ramp provides access to Waubeesee Lake, an 88-acre drainage lake. The access point is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to explore the lake's calm waters. With a mean depth of 9 feet and maximum depth of 27 feet, the lake offers moderate paddling conditions for various skill levels.
The ramp features concrete pads and is publicly maintained. Note that the ramp experienced structural issues in the past (shifted pads creating an uneven surface), though these were addressed with assistance from the Wisconsin DNR. Before launching, it's wise to inspect the ramp condition. Waubeesee Lake supports populations of bluegill, largemouth bass, and northern pike, making it popular for both paddling and fishing. This is the only known public boat launch on the lake, making it the primary access point for water recreation in the area.
