Weatherford Marina provides a convenient public boat ramp for accessing Lake Weatherford on the Clear Fork Trinity River system. Located on the north end of the FM 2946 bridge on the Lake Fork Creek arm of the lake, this full-service facility offers a well-maintained ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The marina charges a small launch fee and features a 24-hour pay station at the gas dock for user convenience.
Beyond the ramp itself, the marina provides additional amenities that make it an attractive access point for a full day on the water, including a tackle and bait shop, courtesy docks, and food service at an on-site restaurant. Boat and jet ski rentals are available if you're interested in exploring the lake without your own vessel. Note that overnight camping is not permitted on the lake, so plan your visit as a day-use activity. The facility's location on the Lake Fork Creek arm makes it a good starting point for both paddlers exploring the quieter creek sections and boaters heading into the larger lake waters.
