About This Access Site
Located near Saxton in Huntingdon County, Weaver's Falls provides convenient public access to the expansive 8,300-acre Raystown Lake. The boat ramp is situated within Weaver's Falls Recreation Area at the southern end of the lake, accessible via PA Route 913 and SR31019 (follow signs from Saxton—approximately 3 miles from town). This is one of seven public launches on Raystown Lake, making it a reliable option for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters.

The recreation area offers more than just water access: it features picnic facilities, a children's playground, and nearby camping options at Nancy's Boat to Shore Campground (reservable). The large, relatively calm waters of Raystown Lake make it suitable for paddlers of varying skill levels. For additional information or to reserve camping, contact the facility at 814-658-3405. Note that the recreation area itself is not ADA accessible, though the boat ramp provides general public access to the water.
