Webberville City Park offers one of the most popular public access points to the Colorado River in the greater Austin area. The facility features a paved boat ramp suitable for both motorboats and paddlers, along with 225 feet of riverbank access. The park is a day-use area with amenities including picnic tables, barbecue grills, a playground, and portable toilets. Note that there is no electricity or drinking water available, and the park does not provide equipment rentals.
The Colorado River at this location is a substantial waterway—a major river system with an average flow of 2,220 cubic feet per second and average velocity of 7.75 feet per second. Paddlers should be prepared for moderate current and water conditions typical of a large, established river. The access point is located on Park Lane off Webberville Drive, west of FM 969. This site serves as a convenient put-in or take-out for canoeists and kayakers exploring the Colorado River Trail, with several other access points available both upstream and downstream.
