Webster-Rock Point

Webster-Rock Point provides boat access to Webster Reservoir on the South Fork Solomon River, located near Stockton in Rooks County, Kansas. The South Fork Solomon is a substantial river system (Stream Order 6) with moderate current averaging 2 feet per second and a 7 ft/mile gradient, making it suitable for recreational paddling and boating. The reservoir offers a more stable water environment compared to the flowing river sections upstream and downstream.

**Important Access Note:** At low water levels, only the boat ramp at Rock Point Campground in the State Park remains usable. Plan your visit accordingly and check current water conditions before launching. The area is excellent for wildlife viewing, with opportunities to spot deer, bald eagles, pheasants, and ducks, making it appealing for paddlers who enjoy nature observation alongside their water recreation.
