Located at the confluence of the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers in downtown Wenatchee, this 194-acre state park offers convenient access to the Columbia River for paddlers and motorboaters. The park features a two-lane watercraft launch with dedicated boat-trailer parking near the day-use area, making it an ideal put-in spot for year-round recreation. Note that access requires either an annual Natural Investment Permit or a combination of a Discover Pass and daily launch permit; daily launch permits are available on-site for $7, with an additional $5 trailer dump fee if needed.
Beyond the launch facilities, Wenatchee Confluence State Park provides excellent amenities for a full day of recreation, including a designated swimming area, picnic facilities with over 70 tables, and a wetland nature preserve. The park's location at the river confluence makes it a gateway to exploring both the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers, popular for paddling and boating throughout the year. The in-town location offers convenient access without requiring a long drive to reach the water.
