About This Access Site
Located in downtown Wenatchee on the Columbia River, this convenient in-town access point features a two-lane boat launch with dedicated trailer parking near the day-use area. The ramp provides easy water access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Facilities include restrooms and short-term moorage options. A daily launch permit ($7) and trailer dumping permit ($5) are available on-site, or you can use an annual Natural Investment Permit or Discover Pass combination.

The Columbia River at this location is a large, relatively flat waterway typical of the Columbia Plateau region. Paddlers should be aware that river levels fluctuate seasonally, which can affect launch conditions. The site is easily accessible via US 2 E and N Wenatchee Avenue; take a left on 2nd Street and continue to N Columbia Street. For specific information about current conditions, seasonal closures, or permit details, contact Chelan County Public Utility District at (509) 661-4551 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
