About This Access Site
West Bay Marina offers one of the best boat ramps on Eagle Mountain Lake, featuring a well-maintained two-lane launch with ample parking for over 50 vehicles. Located on the west side of the lake near Azle, this is a popular access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A launch fee is required. To reach the marina, take FM 730 north from Jacksboro Highway (Texas 199) to Timber Road, turn right, then head north on Liberty School Road and follow signs to the facility.

The marina provides good infrastructure for water access and is a convenient starting point for exploring Eagle Mountain Lake, a reservoir on the West Fork Trinity River. Beyond paddling and fishing, the marina complex offers additional amenities including boat rentals (pontoons and jet skis available at nearby facilities) and RV parking, making it suitable for day trips or longer outings.
